Holidays is almost here again...and its just sad for me and my family that we can afford to buy my daughter a toy at all. My daughter makes her pretend present for her to put in our plastic christmas tree. But i mention to her, that this year is the hard one for me, coz Im still unemployed for almost 6 months and her dad just finish his school and he only works part time but mostly the money goes to rent and bills. We recycled cans for extra cash to buy stuff for her and sell her old clothes for extra cash. I hope there is someone out here in covina, ca who can help me in my situation. Where can i get a toy for her this christmas, she dont mind second hand toys or clothes at all. She wear the same clothes since last wear and they are getting small now and wearing the same shoes since last year. Becoz i can afford to get her one. Thank you. And god bless u all.

Im back again, everyday there is always something new. But still unemployed. I appreciate starshine for sending me information about foodbank.

 I hope someone will be able to help me, im looking for work, anything I will do as long it is clean, I can do laundry for u, clean houses, whatever is the main answer to my problem. Jobs been so hard to find, all employment agency is so slow. Penniless, almost, up to the last resort. I have to stay home and been walking to pick up my daughter to school and walk again to go home together. Start collecting cans for recycled for extra money.

My bf is working but in part time basis and he go to school nite time. But it wasnt enough, bills is seating in the counter ready to be paid, I have to make an extension to pay my utility bills next week. I do baby sitting also.

I even ask for my brother to help lend me a little cash of .00 a month ago, but cant lend me any. Its just sad, they are lucky they are both nurses and have a good job. But cant help me at all. So, Im so helpless and in desperate help, I know there is a lot of ppl in this page who need help more than I do. If you find any link or anybody who can give a job I really appreciate it. My daughter been looking in a floor for any change she can find. That is so sad, as far as I know.

Im, in california, 40, I'm so depressed, and I felt down..and half happy. At long last, I finish school it did take me a year, but still no job. Its been so slow for me.  I dont know what to do anymore, since I got no job, no money coming in..I did pull out my daughter out of daycare, shes 5. I did file my taxes, but only get refund of $400, but went to federal coz i owe that same amount of money.

Even ask my brother closed to me who is married and have good job for extra cash of $60 last month,  he said he will call me if he have any. Will I did not hear, then he got no extra cash. Get food from food bank once a month.

Need help in anything toys for my daughter upcoming bday in july 8, clothes for me and her. I have not even give rent for may. Prayer and someone to talk is good too. Whatever help is good, anything. Been eating a lot of hot dog everyday, coz its cheap.
